Horse4You.co.uk Some days work just puts a smile on your face. That's what it was like the day Xenosys took a call from Simon, the Huntsman at the South Durham Hunt. Simon and his partner Jane wanted our help to set up a novel web site Horse4You for horse lovers and the equestrian trade. The site caters for advertising of Horses, Ponies, Tack and Equestrian Equipment online. The brief was pretty straight forward but Simon and Jane didn't have a lot of time to administer the site, they wanted something that looked after itself so they could concentrate on promoting Horse4You when they visited equestrian events and horse shows. What we developed was a dynamic web based application that uses an access database to serve up individual pages and allow users to place and pay for adverts online. This unusual web site was an absolute pleasure to develop and working with Jane and Simon was a real education. As a rule horsey people don't take life too seriously and Simon and Jane lit up the office more than once. This project was one of those rare treats that don't come along too often and we are proud of our involvement. OK so it wasn't a big budget, high tech super application. But Xenosys flexible approach and our winning attitude left us with another satisfied customer and we all gained from the process.
