Enron Teesside Operations (ETOL) MAXIMO System

Xenosys portfolio of services continue to expand with the engagement of a series of developments on Enron Teesside Operations site at Wilton in Middlesborough. The project takes the form of Ad Hoc support and development resources provided by Xenosys consultants under the direction of ETOL IT team.

Having completed an initial gap analysis and a series of high level consultancy exercises aimed at establishing strategic direction for future MAXIMO developments within ETOL.

The MAXIMO system is used extensively by ETOL to manage and control the maintenance and operations of their key engineering assets. As a provider of managed services and utilities to some of the worlds leading chemical companies, ETOL need to rely heavily on the information held in MAXIMO and the system is central to the businesses core functions.

MAXIMO is used for purchasing and inventory/stores management as well as maintenance planning and recording.

Workload has ebbed and flowed as priorities within ETOL varied. Among other initiatives Xenosys consultants developed barcode based stores and inventory re-conciliation and worked on reporting to support purchase order records and financial audits. The MAXIMO bar coding was developed over several months with further work on the Oracle database progressing in parallel.

Xenosys involvement looks set to continue for some time as ETOL recognise the value in the service, which provides both on-site consultancy and off-site MAXIMO development on a flexible basis.

With competitive rates and a range of skills on offer, Xenosys MAXIMO consultants have proven a valuable resource for ETOL.
